Autumn Concert

Join Richmondshire Orchestra for a high-spirited programme beginning with Mendelssohn’s Ruy Blas Overture, embodying the nobility of the Spanish Court, a prank and a love story that ends in tragedy.  Trumpeter Michael Atkinson lifts the spirits with the familiar tunes of Haydn’s Trumpet Concerto.  The concert ends with Beethoven’s Symphony No 7 which is by turns playful, sorrowful, boisterous, and high-energy throughout.
